Ethan Durham, Corporate Communications and Marketing Director for OGD (Opto Generic Devices) of Van Hornsville, was the after dinner speaker to members and invited guests at the Little Falls Rotary Club on November 7th. Electrical equipment designed and manufactured by OGD provide controlled variable speed management for heating and cooling systems to fixed speed units, that match the capacity of the unit to its effective BTU power or cooling capabilities. Doing this reduces noise, lowers energy consumption and provides a better working environment. All their control equipment can be retro-fitted to any existing heating or cooling system, which can reduce electric use by as much as 40%, with less fuel consumed and less wear to a system through the controlled equipment run times. All their equipment is manufactured in New York State and their products have earned awards and accolades from a number of technology and energy experts, including the highest levels of the U. S. Dept. of Energy.
