Lou Steppello - District Governor Visit - November 14th 2012

Lou Steppello, Rotary District Governor for 2012/2013, attended the Little Falls Rotary meeting and spoke to members, spouses and invited guests about his priorities for the coming year. At a local level, this includes helping people who have special needs and especially veterans, of whom it is said 'is a person, whether active, discharged, retired, guard or reserve who, at some point in their lives, wrote a blank check to 'The United States of America' for an amount up to and including their life'.
Rotary, through it's international arm, also continues to fight hunger, reducing child mortality, promoting peace, basic educational literacy and the fight against polio. Currently, three countries have cases of polio - these are Afghanistan, Nigeria and Pakistan.
