Gwendolyn (Wendy) Mucica - Induction to Rotary Membership - November 28th 2012

At the meeting, Gwendolyn (Wendy) Mucica was inducted into the Rotary Club. In her words, Wendy describes herself:

"As a little girl, I knew in my heart that I wanted to work in a helping profession that made a difference in people's lives. As a young adult I formally trained to become an occupational therapist. I have been an occupational therapist for almost 30 years and I am currently employed at Mayfield Central School District in Mayfield, New York as a school-based registered occupational therapist. It is amazing to me that time and time again when I serve others, I also gain as a person, when I originally expected nothing in return! As a person who likes to live her life in service, I am extremely excited to be part of a larger organization of Rotary. As a new member, I am extremely interested in bringing and sharing my vision and passion of engaging and empowering youth to take an active role to serve others. I would love to and be part of seeing our youth and the Rotary organization work together to serve to address a common goal and a community project for the betterment of all. I am married and have a 14 year old son."
