At the meeting, John Scarano was inducted into the Rotary Club.
John Scarano has held the position of Executive Director of the Herkimer
County Chamber of Commerce
for the past 7 years.
The
Chamber represents appox. 500 business and professional members
as well as Not for profits and organizations.
The
Rotary membership will allow me the opportunity to participate with
other Rotary clubs in Herkimer County that many of our Chamber’s
Business members also belong to.(sort of a roving Rotarian).
I
am a lifelong resident of little falls and have always tried to
help our community as well as the county in any way I can. I have
been involved over the years in little league, Pop warner, CYO basketball
as well as the Holy family parish Church, Men’s club Sons of
the Decarlo Staffo Post LF Urban Renewal and the Board of Assessors.
John
has two sons Matthew and John who live in Utica and Albany.
